About our Breeding
Program...
Here at Griffinsburg Equine LLC our focus is on
breeding quality Thoroughbreds, based on pedigree, conformation,
temperment & soundness. Many breeding
operations are large scale, and produce quanity as opposed to quality,
as well as commercial breeding interests instead of breeding for the
track. We breed quality that with the
correct training and luck will go on to run or perform in the arena.
Dante’s Devil

by Devil’s Bag out of Poetry Miss by
Tasso.
State bred:
In 2000 Dante’s Devil was
purchased at the Saratoga Select Yearling Sale, put on the track, won
at 1 1/16 miles. Soon after his career was cut short from a bone chip. His sire, Devil’s
Bag, was Champion 2 yo. Colt of 1983 and
producer of over 43 stakes winners & 43 million in progeny
earnings. His stakes winning dam Poetry Miss is by Breeder’s Cup
Champion, Tasso. Second dam Alizea is the
dam of Songandaprayer.
