Dear Students and Campers,

Don't forget  that as well as camps we offer trail rides for the family, groups or individuals.  Our trails are beautiful and groups usually run on the weekends but are offered any day of the week.  So if you have friends visiting you this summer you might think of bringing them on a trail ride for a special thing to do.  We also offer gift certificates for Birthdays, Christmas or any occasion for trail rides, summer camps and lessons.  They also make a great Thank-You present.  

We also have horses and ponies for sale.  If you are thinking of purchasing a horse or pony let us know and we will find the one for you.  Jill has a great eye for a horse and can find you just the right one.  You can tell as she has picked out all of ours and they are wonderful horses that are safe and sound. 

We are busy this year with Birthday party pony rides. We bring ponies to your house or do the whole party here at the farm which can include swimming, hay rides, face painting, games etc.  We have a pony ride brochure with all our rates & we'll be glad to send one to you.  Make sure that you book ahead of time as most weekends are taken fast.  Our ponies will be in Culpeper June 5th for a Cancer Drive benefit at the Culpeper High School.  Stop in and see them it's for a good cause.  If you have a benefit that you want pony rides at we give a special discount rate. 

As school is almost out we will go to a summer schedule.  Most lessons will be held either early morning or late afternoon.  We do this because of the heat in the middle of the day.  If you would like to change your afternoon lesson to a morning lesson please let  me know ASAP!  It is helpful if you plan to come the same day and time each week.  We save that spot for you so that it is consistent each week.  If the weather is bad we will cancel but everyone is required to make up any days missed.  It will be your responsibility to call and reschedule it.  We are open year round and the more you ride the better you will be.  Moms and Dads we have groups for you ,so if you are interested in coming for lessons let us know our farm is open to adults as well as kids.  And for those young ones ages 4 and 5 ,even though they are too young for camp, we offer riding lessons or pony rides.  We have hopes to run another Horse Show this Fall here at the farm.  We do this for our students so that they get the experience of showing.  This includes the use of our horses for the day.  Everyone will go home with a ribbon.  However this will depend on students coming for lessons all summer long and preparing to show.  We have already noticed a lot of talent with the new students we have, so keep up the good work.  Jill will plan to take some riders off the farm to other local horse shows this year.  This includes the use of our horses and Jill coaching them through the show. 

In the works for this year we are thinking of having a family overnight or two day camp-out trail ride and BBQ late this summer.  The plans are just in the dream stages, but if this sounds like something you'd like to do with your whole family let us know and we will add you to the list of interested families.  Jill is running trail rides off the farm to places like Manassas Battlefield trails or the Blue Ridge Mt. trails call us for the rates.  We also offer trailering for those of you that already have horses that need to be moved. or just about anything that needs a trailer.  

Don't forget that Camp Balances are due one week before your scheduled camp date.  You also need to make sure that you have filled out a release form, registration form, medical form for camp!!  If you haven't, please send it right away.  If you want any more information on any of this call us.  Thanks and we look forward to a great summer!!

Trail Ride Camp for more advanced riders will be held at the same time. Adults are welcome.  A $50 deposit will hold your space.

We provide Riding Lessons: $20 for group and $35 for private. 

You can also purchase relaxing trail ride session/packages, Instead of riding in the ring for your lesson, take a relaxing trail ride through the scenic foothills, for an hour per week.
