Griffinsburg Equine is located in the Piedmont of Virginia, just east of the Blue Ridge Mountains just minutes from Commonwealth Park. Traditionally, this area has been the heart of hunt country in America. Rich in history, Culpeper County was surveyed by George Washington who described it as "a high and pleasant prospect", and the first Minuteman Militia was organized here. In addition, the town of Culpeper was the headquarters of both the Confederate and Union armies during the Civil War. The rolling hills of the Piedmont are perfect for horses and riding.
